Quick recap of the month:
*** Brooke is MOBILE! She is officially crawling, pulling herself up on everything and anything and cruising furniture. She will pull herself up on my legs, the table, her toys, walls, you name it, she finds a way to get to her feet. Wow, what a difference 1 month makes!
*** Brooke loves to shake her head up & down and especially side to side. I don't think she realizes that it means yes and no. I'm convinced she does it to get dizzy... silly, silly girl!
*** Bedtime is becoming like naptime... a challenge! Brooke will pull herself up in her crib, walk around and jump if she isn't ready to sleep. However, once asleep, she sleeps like a champ!
*** Brooke still LOVES to eat and still loves all her fruits and veggies! She is getting good at picking food up and feeding herself. We have been experimenting with giving her lots of different foods we are eating, so far she has eaten everything.
*** She is only taking 3 bottles a day and prefers her sippy cup over the bottle! Hopefully this will continue and will make taking the bottle away easy.
*** Brooke now weighs 27 pounds and is wearing 18-24 month clothing and size 5 diapers.
*** Miss Brooke has quite a little vocabulary starting. Anytime she is playing with Elmo, she will say "Mo Mo". Other words include... mama, mom, dada, wow, bow wow, oh wow, oooooo, nonononono and then any combination of ma, da, la, ga, wa or ba. Other than "mo mo", I'm not sure she actually knows what she is talking about.
*** Brooke now has 8 teeth (4 on the top and 4 on the bottom) and enjoys chomping on her toothbrush.
*** Brooke is still a great baby! She always finds a way to put a smile on everyone's face!
