Better late than never!

It only took until the middle of summer for Darren & I to get the pool ready, but I am glad we did!

I was skeptical of how Brooke would do in the big pool, mainly because of the water temperature. The pool water is 81 degrees, wonderful and refreshing for the 90+ degree days we have been having, but still not bathtub temperature. Brooke LOVES bath time, but the couple of times we have put her in a baby pool, she cried a bit due to the water being on the cooler side.

Brooke and I waited for her Daddy to come home from work to take her first swim. We took her in about 6pm and swam until 9pm (with a short dinner intermission). She LOVED the pool, her little legs, kicked and kicked and kicked!!!
