2 Months!

Wow! Time sure flies when you are having fun! It's amazing how fast they grow, 2 months ago she was less than 8 pounds and now she is more than 12 pounds (according to our home scale)! Next week she goes in for her 2 month check-up, so we'll find out her exact weight and height.

Quick recap of the month:

*** Brooke LOVES to be naked - diaper changes and bath time are when we see the most smiles!

*** Brooke is still a GREAT sleeper and eater! She typically goes to bed somewhere around 10pm and normally wakes up somewhere around 6am for a quick snack and then goes back down until 9am. No complaints from Mommy!

*** She is eating SO well, we have retired her 0-3 month clothing and are now wearing 3-6 months!

*** Brooke is making great eye contact and is able to track things in all directions, especially lights!

*** Brooke loves spending time in her swing while watching her mobile and she also loves laying on her mat, kicking and batting at all the animals.

Baby Shower

On Sunday, January 16th, Auntie Aunt Jean had a baby shower for Brooke at her house and it was perfect! I feel so lucky to see how loved Brooke is by all our family and friends. She was really "showered" with love, attention and a ton of gifts! Thank you to everyone for your extremely generous gifts and for taking the time to come and celebrate Brooke's life!
