We stayed at the RIU in Ochos Rio, which happened to be right next door to Sandals where we got married 2 years ago.
One day, we decided to walk over to Sandals. We thought it would be neat to take a picture on the beach where we got married. To our surprise, things really changed in 2 years, and not for the best. The resort was run down and closing in a month and the ocean had destroyed the beach where we were married.
I wasn't allowed to do any motorized watersports, so instead, we went for a tour of Jamaica with a local Rastafarian named Acco. It was interesting to see the real country of Jamaica, not the Jamaica you see at the resorts. Where do you get to see marijuana plants almost as tall as you are?
